Today I went to the Church of Advent Hope, in Yorkville (Upper East Side) in Manhattan. The church is situated just a step from Central Park. It's a big church with a contemporary worship. The members have diverse background (with some French speaker). They are very warm and won't hesitate to get acquainted with you, especially at the time of the meal. The meal, where are invited all the visitors, is warm and very friendly.

The Sabbath day service takes places on the morning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (Sabbath School and Worship Service).

Aujourd'hui je me suis rendu à l'église de l'« Advent Hope » (l'Espérance du retour) à Yorkville (Upper East Side) à Manhattan. Le temple se situe à deux pas de Central Park. C'est une grande église, avec un culte contemporain, composée de membres d'origines diverses (dont quelques francophones...). Les membres sont très chaleureux et n'hésiteront pas à faire connaissance avec vous, surtout au moment du repas. Le repas, auquel sont invités tous les visiteurs, est chaleureux et convivial.

Le service du sabbat matin à lieu de 10h à 13h (école du sabbat + culte d'adoration).

Boston Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, Massachussets

Today I went to one of the churches of Boston: Boston Temple, situated in Fenmore-Kenway neighborhoods. From the sabbath school to the end of the service, the welcome was warm. Today it was a special (and long) day because there was the Holy Communion service.

There are some French-speaking brothers (essentially people with Haitian and African background, but also people who learnt French at school). It’s really a very diverse community, representing the various cultures present in Boston (Brazilian, Latin American, Haitian, African, Asian, North American…), be not surprised if hearing several languages.

A brotherly and friendly meal is served after the worship and the visitors are cordially invited there... I can testify it!

The Sabbath day service takes places on the morning from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm (Sabbath School and Divine Service).

Aujourd'hui je me suis rendu à l'une des églises de Boston, plus exactement à Boston Temple située dans le quartier Fenmore-Kenway. Dès l'école du sabbat l'accueil a été chaleureux. Aujourd'hui ce fut une journée spéciale (et longue) car c'était la Sainte-Cène. Il y a quelques frères francophones (d'origines haïtiennes, africaines ou ayant appris le français à l'école). C'est surtout une communauté très diverses représentant les différentes cultures que l'on retrouve à Boston (brésiliens, latino-américains, haïtiens, africains, asiatiques, nord-américains...), ne soyez donc pas surpris d'y entendre plusieurs langues parlées.

Un repas fraternel et convivial est servi après le culte et les visiteurs y sont cordialement invités... je peux vous l'assurer !
