SWEEP Live – Coffee Church (Siebenten-Tags-Adventisten), Hamburg, Deutschland
Sweep Live is the first « Coffee Church » in Hamburg. It is very particular and is especially an instrument of evangelization to the believers (followers or not), agnostics and unbelievers. It has the peculiarity to present the religious values and the spirituality in a different way of what we could find in a traditional church (even if its final goal is to bring people to the church while showing them the another image of the religiosity).
SWEEP is an acronym of five German words :
S - Stärken = Strengthen: strengthen our relation with God.
W- Wachsen = Growing : make our conviction growing.
E - Erzählen = Speak: speak enthusiastically about God's love.
E - Engagieren = Engagement: everybody is invited to put his capacity and to take part in the action.
P - Preisen = Praise: praise God with our whole life.
The "worship service" can take various forms: praises, testimonies, worship, always accompanied with a small message. The assistance audience meets around table (as in a café) around appetizers, accompanied with coffee, tea or others drink... The "bar" remaining opened.
Today we enjoyed the moment with the "Pick a Pocket" team. They talked about their action in India, in Ethiopia, etc., and their projects. They shared testimonies and songs with us.
After the program, a meal is proposed and the occasion is given to discuss, to get acquainted and to exchange in a friendly atmosphere.
Moment of contemporary spiritual sharing around a meal and around a meal every second Saturday of the month from 4:30 pm to 7 pm.

Cette église ou plutôt « Caf'église » est très particulière et est surtout un instrument d'évangélisation à destination des croyants (pratiquants ou non), des agnostiques et des non-croyants. Elle a la particularité de présenter les valeurs religieuses et la spiritualité d'une manière différente de ce que l'on pourrait trouver dans une église traditionnelle (même si son but final est d'amener les gens à l'église tout en leur montrant une autre image de la religiosité).

W - Wachsen = Grandir : faire grandir notre conviction
E - Erzählen = Parler : parler avec enthousiasme de l'amour de Dieu

P - Preisen = Louer : Louer Dieu avec notre vie entière.
Les « cultes » qui s'y déroulent peuvent prendre différentes formes : louanges, témoignages, adoration, toujours accompagné d'un petit message. Sur la forme, l'assistance se retrouve autour de table (comme dans un café) autour d'amuse-bouches, accompagné de café, thé ou autres boisson... Le « bar » restant ouvert.
Cet après-midi, ce sont donc les « Pick a Pocket », dans le cadre de leur tournée qui sont passé présenter leur action en Inde, en Éthiopie, etc., et leurs projets. Ils ont également pu partager des témoignages et des chants avec l'assistance.
Après le programme, un repas est proposé et l'occasion est donnée de discuter, de faire connaissance et d'échanger dans une ambiance conviviale.
